cleanliness was spot on! the hotel's tucked away in the wooded hills above - giving us amazing views of the bay. we felt like locals - exploring the town and beaches on foot. oh, and the staff was so kind!

The room we stayed in at Quinta Dos Moinhos De Sao Filipe was absolutely amazing! It had a stunning ocean view that took our breath away. The tiled floor gave it a charming and rustic feel, making us feel right at home. The room was so comfortable and cozy, with a seating area where we could relax after a long day exploring. We also loved that it had air conditioning, which was a lifesaver in the hot weather. And the best part? The private bathroom had all the toiletries we needed, and even a hair dryer! It was truly a dream stay.

Difficult access to surrounding area without a car.

The hotel's decoration was absolutely charming, with beautiful antique furniture and cozy sitting areas. The general areas were well-maintained and had a warm and inviting atmosphere. The accessibility for senior people was excellent, with easy access to all parts of the hotel and helpful staff that offered assistance whenever needed.

I would have appreciated a better vacation experience for senior people if the children working there were more attentive and understanding of our needs.
